Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to 4 B!!!! I hope you have an enjoyable summer. I can't wait to hear all your wonderful stories about your summer. I am looking forward to working with you this year. I have a lot of fun things planned for your fourth grade year. There are a few things you can do over the summer vacation that will help you keep the skills you learned in 3rd grade. First, you should READ, READ, READ! Secondly, practice those math skills. Every fourth grader is expected to know their multiplication facts.

The State Department says that we can no longer require our students to bring school supplies but here is a list of the suggested items they will need for the fourth grade:
• Six 1-subject notebooks
• Loose leaf paper
• Two folders
• One box of tissues
• Cleaning wipes
• Pencils, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, and a pencil box
• Tennis shoes are required for PE class
• No book bags with wheels because they will not fit in our lockers

Sincerely,
Mrs. Simmons
