Helan Turner Awarded Honors of the
West Virginia Speech Language Association


April 2010 - Helan Turner was awarded the West Virginia Speech Language and Hearing Association's Honors of the Association April 23rd at the Associations 48th Annual Business meeting in Charleston, WV.

She received the award for her five years of dedicated service as the CEU Coordinator for the Association.

This is a professional organization comprised of Speech Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Deaf Educators who develop and promote programming to assist consumers and professionals in these related fields.

The Honors of The Association is given to professional members who have demonstrated the highest professional standards and dedication working with Association programs over an extended period of time.

Mrs. Turner has worked on numerous Association Committees and has served the last five years as the Association's CEU Coordinator. Her assignment involves documenting and keeping track of all CEU Activities involving the American Speech Language and Hearing Association for the state of West Virginia.

Mrs. Turner is a Speech Language Pathologist employed by Pendleton County Schools. She lives in Onego with her husband Shawn and their sons, Jacob and Jonas.
