Writing Assessment

The Seventh and Tenth Grade West Virginia Writing Assessment is an online performance assessment based on a response to a writing prompt. Students are required to type and submit their responses online. This assessment is given in February and March of each school year. The results of this assessment provide information to students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the public regarding the writing skills of public school students in West Virginia.

The Seventh Grade Writing Assessment will be given in March and the Tenth Grade Writing Assessment will be given in February. For more information call Debra Jackson at 358-2573.
