Student Drop-Off/Pick-Up & Early Dismissal
Everything you need to know for safe arrival & departure
Student Drop-Off | DROP-OFF HOURS: 7:20 AM - 7:45 AM
If you are dropping your child off in the mornings, please follow the parent loop & drop off your child at the stop sign in front of the drop‐off entrance.
For safety purposes, we encourage you to have your child sit on the right side/passenger side of the car & exit from there onto the sidewalk. We discourage getting out of your vehicle to walk your child to school. If you must do so, there is visitor parking.
Student Pick-Up | HOURS: AFTER 3:05 PM
When picking up your child in the evening, please follow the same procedure as the morning drop-off.
Students being picked up are dismissed at 3:05 PM & will be escorted to the vehicle by an on‐duty teacher. Students who are walking from school will be dismissed at 3:10 PM.
In order for your child to get his/her maximum instructional time & prevent disruptions in the classroom, please refrain from picking your child up until 3:05 PM. If, however, your child has a doctor’s appointment or other necessary appointment, please park in the visitor parking area & come to the visitor entrance to check them out.
It is understandable that there will be times that a student must leave school before the end of the regular school day for doctor's appointments or other urgent family business.
Parents should make a sincere effort not to schedule appointments for their children during school. However, when this is not possible, students will have to present a note written & signed by their parent, explaining why the student should be excused early.
The parent should personally pick the child up from school by reporting to the school office.
No child will be permitted to leave school with anyone other than the parent unless prior arrangements have been made between the parent and the school office.
NOTE: Unless it is an emergency or an appointment, parents are asked to leave students in class until the school day ends.
