Franklin Elementary School

Franklin Elementary School is located in the town of Franklin in Pendleton County, West Virginia.  We are a small rural community surrounded by mountains and streams rich for hunting and fishing.  Our students are largely from families that have their roots for many generations in the Franklin area.  Our students are raised in the tradition of respect for others and responsibility for their own growth academically and personally.

​We have a student body of approximately 300 students in grades PreK-6th. Franklin Elementary has a dedicated staff of professional educators and service personnel support staff who are committed to the success of all our students.  Franklin Elementary school is based on a data driven system for academic accountability and a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support system for behavior management in our classrooms.

​We welcome the diversity of the students and staff that enroll in our school and work within our school. We are a community of many customs and beliefs that support the needs of all our students and staff.  We are excited about the 2021-2022 school year beginning.  We welcome you to our school and to our school community.
