An ALICE Drill was conducted this afternoon to prepare students and staff for a possible active shooter incident. Law enforcement was on campus to provide guidance; students and staff responded well, and the drill provided helpful insights.

Tomorrow, Thursday, March 27th, the juniors will be taking a practice SAT School Day test. This will be a great opportunity for students to become familiar with the test and tools before taking the test on April 9th. Due to icy road conditions, Bus 5417 will be unable to complete its route this morning on Timber Ridge. However, Bus 5310 will be able to pick up some students along the route where conditions allow for safe travel.

Pendleton County Schools is aware that the Town of Franklin will be under a boil water advisory - from Wednesday, March 19 through Thursday, March 20 - which includes Pendleton County Middle/High School and Franklin Elementary School. We have a plan in place to provide bottled water to all students and staff.

There is an Opt Out form if parents do not want students to participate, and the survey is completely voluntary. Students will be provided time Thursday during advisory to complete the survey.
