BOOK FAIR IS COMING
February 28th – March 4th
Brandywine Elementary School will have its annual Book Fair next week on Monday - Friday. All students will visit the Book Fair three times to allow for selection and purchasing. A class schedule is being provided so you will know the time that your child will visit the fair. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we are unable to allow parents/guardians to shop with students at school. We are also unable to have the Book Fair open during the evening. On Thursday, March 3rd and Friday, March 4th, it will only be open from 1:00-2:30 for students who are making a last minute purchase.
The Book Fair is an important fund-raiser for our school that helps provide books for our library and classrooms, but more importantly, books are an investment in your child’s education and future. Our school will be earning 50-55% profit from every sale to help us purchase books for our library.
Parents please note: included is a Scholastic Book Fair brochure with the order form on the back. It includes many books you will find at the fair. However, there are many more on display at the school. When your child visits the Book Fair on Monday, he/she will write down a list of books that are of interest to him/her. Books may be purchased all five days.
Make checks payable to: Brandywine Elementary. There is no option for credit card purchases.
All books will be rounded to the nearest whole cent. Example—A book that is $5.49 will be $5.50, a $3.99 book will be $4.00. The ‘extra’ will be donated to “All for Books” which will be added into our account to help us purchase more books.
Any sold out books can be prepaid and ordered once the book fair is over. You can also order online via our school book fair site from February 25 – March 10. Books ordered from the site will be shipped after our book fair is over. Visit our site at: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/brandywinewv
Our school has access to all Accelerated Reader tests. To find out if a book your child wants to purchase is an AR book, you can visit the site: www.arbookfind.com and type in the title of the book. This will also allow you to see what AR level the book is.
