Thursday November 10th, the roles were reversed. This time the students of NFES were the ones preforming for a very special audience. Students had the honor to preform for 17 of our very own local Veterans of Pendleton County! They sang several patriotic songs, read poems and presented these honored guests with homemade treasures. Our hope is to expand this program and fill our gym with even more local heroes. 🇺🇸

On Wednesday November 9th, NFES students were entertained by West Virginia’s traveling artist; Mr. Mick Souter. He preformed on several different instruments and sang both familiar and original songs written by him that “Celebrate West Virginia”.

Good Evening North Fork Families, Friends and Community Members. This is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow November 10th at 1:30pm in the Harold K. Michael Building, the students of North Fork Elementary will be presenting a Veterans Day Program. Everyone is welcome to attend and encouraged to participate by wearing their Red, White and Blue. Let us all show how much we care and appreciate our local Veterans.

Middle school boys' basketball flex practice will be tomorrow from 6-7:30. Anyone planning to tryout next week is welcome to come.
Tryouts start next Monday, November 7th after school-5:30.

The rain may have pushed off the Pumpkin Drop on Monday but there was no holding Mrs. Selmon and Mrs. Waddell back today. Great job to all the Fifth and Sixth Graders for participating and having fun. The kids are all making plans for next year. 💚💛

Since NFES was unable to pull off a Fall Fest this year, with the help of our CIS, the community rallied and provided the kids with a “Table-or-Treat” and Dance Party! A BIG Thank-You to: Lambert Hilltop Park, Nelson Rocks, J& P Fencing, Grant County Bank, Circleville Presbyterian, Pendleton Community Bank, Mountain Cajun Getaway, Harp-Co, Yokum’s Vacationland, Hinkle Trucking, Greer Industries, SKSRT, Circleville Volunteer Fire Dept., The Arbaugh Family, Mr. Humphries, NFES-PTSO & Seneca Caverns for participating. 💚💛💚💛

On Thursday, NFES Students participated in their first ever Club Day. Students picked from 7 different clubs: Music/Guitar, Baking, Girl Scouts, Art, an Ag Lesson, STEM or Board Games. It was a great time by all!! Staff and students alike 💚💛

This week is School Bus Safety Week! Our bus drivers have a large impact on our students' education and are often times the first person of contact each day. Please remember to always exercise caution and be alert

Hello NFES Families,
As you know we recently hosted an all school live stream event called The NED Show. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which inspires everyone to become Champions at school and in life!
The NED Show yo-yos will bel available for purchase all week here at school to support the free show and message.
Additionally, here are a couple of our favorite follow up home resources from The NED Show website. You may want to use these with your child as they are designed to go hand in hand with the program.
