It's almost Back to School time! Mark your calendars. Students' first day back is Friday, August 16.

Pendleton County Schools will be conducting routine vision, speech, and hearing screenings on all preschool & kindergarten students. Students in 1st grade & up who are new to Pendleton County will receive a speech screening. Students new to West Virginia in 1st grade and up will receive a hearing screening. Students in 2nd and 4th grades will receive a vision screening. Students who are referred to the school psychologist for testing for reasons other than the gifted program will receive a hearing and vision screening. If a parent wants their child to opt out of the screenings, a written notice needs to be sent to the Director of Student Services by August 5, 2024 at Pendleton County Schools, PO Box 888, Franklin, WV 26807.
