We are excited to share the Students of the Month for November 2023!
The Pendleton County High School November Academic Student of the Month is Kaylee Callison. She is the daughter of Brandon and Misty Drake of Franklin, WV. Kaylee is a member of the National Honor Society, Pep Club, Mr. Hinkle’s Film Society, and serves as Historian for the Class of 2024. Kaylee is also President of FFA and has proudly earned her Chapter Degree. She is currently a waitress at the Star Restaurant and volunteers at Faithful Friends Animal Clinic. Kaylee plans to attend Bethany College in the fall to pursue a degree in pre-veterinary medicine. She hopes to attend an out-of-state Veterinary school and earn a doctorate degree in Veterinarian Medicine as well.
The Pendleton County High School November “James Huffman” Responsible Student of the Month is Marcus Smith. Marcus is the son of Amalia Villalobos of Brandywine, WV. He is an active member of the National Honor Society of High Scholars, a member of Upward Bound, and is on the A/B Honor Roll. Marcus has participated in Track and Field for four years. He also loves to play basketball and go fishing. Marcus is senior this year and plans to further his education to become an electrician.
