The Pendleton County Middle School Student Council recently had the opportunity to showcase not only their artwork but true teamwork across the school. When council members were told they were entered into the 2025 Main Street Magic Christmas Light Pole Decorating Contest, they got to work by selecting a design for their entry.
Once the design was selected, a stack of three gingerbread men ready for the holidays, members realized that they needed to enlist the help of Mr. Hudson, along with his students to cut the design out of plywood. Next came the painting of the gingerbread men, student council members asked Mrs. Heavner if they could use the FACS department as their painting headquarters. As student council members finished up class work prior to Thanksgiving Break, they were able to stop by and help paint.
The Middle School Student Council would like to thank everyone who was involved in the project.
