Pendleton County’s December Academic Student of the Month is Senior, Selena Hedrick of Circleville. She is the daughter of Sherry and Alva Hedrick. She has been a member of FFA and FCCLA for four years. Currently, she is the President of the FFA Chapter. She has earned Greenhand and Chapter Degrees from FFA. She has been a member of NHS for two years and is currently serving as Historian. Selena is a member of Upward Bound and is the President of the class of 2023. She is on the Honor Roll. Selena helps with Lambert Hilltop Park and attends Calvary Gospel Church. Selena plans to attend Fairmont State University and major in nursing.
Taylor Wimer of Franklin, is the December James Huffman Responsible Student of the Month at PCHS. He is the son of Danny and Vanessa Wimer. He likes to bear and deer hunt and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He works as a dishwasher. Taylor plans to attend college to become a veterinarian.
December Student of the Month Kourtney Whetzel is the December Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Trent and Jenny Whetzel of Upper Tract. Kourtney loves spending time with her pets, especially her cat Cleo. She enjoys doing arts and crafts, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends and family. After high school Kourtney would like to work with animals.
