🐢 What a day! After the great turtle presentation by WV Department of Natural Resources our students got to hold a real turtle — but only after sharing a turtle fact they learned. Such a cool way to combine learning and hands-on fun! Check out the photos from the WVDNR visit!

LSIC will meet in the BES Library December 11th at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. The agenda can be found on our website: https://www.pendletoncountyschools.com/o/bes/page/local-school-improvement-council-lsic

We would like to wish all of our families a Happy Thanksgiving and we hope you enjoy time with your families over the next week. Here is our lunch menu for when we see you again in December.

Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students had the BEST time at our Poppas With Pizza event! 🍕Students worked side-by-side with their dads and other important role models to create their very own pizzas, play pizza themed bingo, and read some very good books!

Our students had a fantastic time at last week's assembly featuring Mick Souter's Touring Musical Theater. Mick filled our gym with music, storytelling, and plenty of Mountain Pride! A huge thank-you to Mick Souter for sharing his talents with our school today!

A Sincere Thank You! ⭐️
On behalf of Brandywine Elementary School, Pendleton County Schools, Aliyah Wright, Communities In Schools Coordinator, and Principal Ryan Lambert, we extend our deepest gratitude to L&S Toyota, Shawn and Angela Ball, the Pack Family Foundation, and the Wing 2 Wing Foundation.
Because of their generosity, every school in West Virginia received a $1,500 donation for the Communities In Schools program to support children. We are truly thankful for their dedication and commitment to the well-being and success of students throughout our state.

A big shoutout to our Perfectly Royal Attendance Winners for October! Thank you for showing up and working hard every day! Congratulations students!

Yesterday, our students honored the brave men and women who have served our country with a heartfelt Veterans Day Assembly. 💙❤️
From inspiring songs and a moving Readers Theater performance, powerful facts about Veterans Day to a Veterans Prayer shared by our students, the program was a beautiful tribute to those who have made sacrifices for our freedom.
A special thank you to all the veterans who joined us today — your courage, service, and dedication inspire us all.

Our students had an amazing time meeting the WVU Mountaineer! They even got to take part in a friendly push-up contest where one student was a lucky winner! So much fun and so much Mountaineer pride!
