
Just a reminder: Rec League Basketball Clinic will be held Saturday, December 16 at PCMHS Grades 3-4 will be from 1:30-2:30 Grades 5-6 will be from 2:45-3:45 Rec League staff and coaches will work with players on basic basketball skills during the 1 hour clinic. Players/families will be contacted the following week by their assigned coach for the 1st practice date. Check in for the clinic will begin 15 minutes prior to the start. Physicals form can be turned in this day as well. All players must have physicals by the first official practice. Parents will be asked to wait in the commons and not in the gym. This event will be for basketball only. Cheer will be contacted by coaches soon.

The students of 4A have been working very hard since the beginning of the school year to fill their marble jar. They earn marbles by exemplifying good behavior. They filled their jar and voted on a pajama and a movie day. 😁🍿🎬

Students in 3B have been learning about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race that is held in Alaska.

Kindergarten through second grade visited different countries like Spain, France, England, Mexico, and China learning about different Christmas traditions and doing a craft at each one.


2nd Grade enjoyed Family FUN Night, with board games and raffle prizes! It's great when families play games together!!

Pendleton County Schools will have a Non-traditional instructional day today, Monday, December 11.

The Pendleton County Healthy Grandfamilies program will be meeting on Tuesday Dec. 12 at 4:00 pm at Pendleton County High School on the topic of Cyber Safety. Any Grandparent who is the primary caretaker of their grandchildren are invited to participate in the program. Franklin Elementary School had a very special visitor today! The students were very excited to meet "Penny", the therapy dog.

Kindergarten A and B listened to the book, "Balloons Over Broadway" about balloon maker and puppeteer, Tony! With Tony's inspiration, our Kinderstars designed their very own Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons and held a Balloon Parade through the hallways of FES!
