Kindergarten through 4th grade students got up close and personal with the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. Members gave a presentation in the classroom on fire safety at home, and then the students were able to go outside to learn about all of the equipment on the trucks. 🔥 🏡👨🏻‍🚒🚒

5th and 6th graders participated in The Great Pumpkin Drop after learning about Newton’s Laws of Motion in Mrs. Shreve’s Science class. They were able to work individually or in groups to create the best protection possible for their pumpkin. All students were invited to watch as the pumpkins were dropped off of the building. Out of 34 projects, 2 survived with no faults or cracks. This was a memorable experience for all! 🎃
