North Fork Preschool & Kindergarten students were visited by royalty today. Trout Fest Queen Jenna Biggs came to visit & read to our students & got them excited about the upcoming Trout Fest this weekend!

Last Thursday, NFES students & staff welcomed the 2023 Senior Class into their budling for a final walk across the stage and the hallway of NFES! Seniors were greeted in the gym with posters and cheers and then took one final walk down their former hallway. Best wishes to the 2023 Senior Class from the entire NFES Family!








The Pendleton County Healthy Grandfamilies will be having their first meeting of 2023 on today at PCHS. This free program is designed for grandparents raising their grandchildren. We have reopened enrollment for our Summer Success Academy! This program is for upcoming K-12 graders. Current students in Grades 9-12 will focus on credit recovery. Communities in Schools is sponsoring a NEW Attendance Rewards for NFES!
Beginning today; March 6, 2023 – May 26, 2023
If a student does not miss any days of school during an entire week – they will get to choose a prize from the prize box at the end of the week; a pencil, eraser, pop it keychain for their bookbag, etc. We will do this each week until the end of school.
Weekly winners with “no absences” will have their name entered for the Grand Prize Drawing which will be done the last day of school, May 26, 2023. We will be drawing for three bicycles.
There will be a drawing for grades 1 – 3, a drawing for grades 4 – 6 and a separate drawing for Kindergarten and Pre-School, as well. The Pre-School & Kindergarten drawing will be held the last day of Pre-School.
“No absences” means “0” absences for any reason.
