The PBIS Jump Park trip scheduled for tomorrow, January 19 has been cancelled and will now take place on Wednesday, January 26th. This involves BES students in grades 3rd-6th.
Please note: Picture Retake Day is scheduled for BES for Thursday, January 20th.
BES is prepared for the snow 🌨❄️ 3rd Grade made snowflakes during writing class and 6th grade dressed the part on Friday 😊
Kindergarten participated in a fun math lesson this week. Students wadded up paper with math facts written on them. Next they threw them all over the place when a timer was set. Once the timer went off, students picked up the “snowballs” and rushed to their seats to solve! 😁
A Brandywine School Association meeting will be held tomorrow, January 13th in the BES library at 6:00pm. All parents are encouraged and welcome to attend!
Pendleton County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay, Tuesday, January 11th due to low temperatures and wind chill.
Tomorrow, Monday, January 10th Pendleton County Schools will be operating on a 2 hour delay due to possible icy conditions.
BES 4th grade students started a new novel “Wonder” after the break. They are locked in and engaged!
Tomorrow, Friday, January 7th will be a Summer Saver Day for Pendleton County Schools. Students will work remotely and staff will work from home. Stay safe and keep warm!
Due to impending weather, Pendleton County Schools will be dismissing early today, Thursday, January 6, 2022. Buses will leave Franklin Elementary at 12:30pm.

We collected the food from our 12 Days of Christmas this Friday. The total food collected this year was 4,446 pounds. Yes, that is correct, over 2 TONS of food! Phenomenal job Pendleton County!
