6th grade luncheon
Many of our students visited Seneca this year with their classes and have enjoyed themselves. Check out this exciting event happening next weekend, June 3rd, at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center!
Communities In Schools proudly announces Kolton Bland won the drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Gateway Restaurant. To be eligible to win, you could only miss 3 or less days of school the whole year! He actually only missed one day the whole year! Congratulations, Kolton!!!
Mrs. Kimble's KB class is enjoying the sunshine and some ice cream sundaes.
5th grade had fun exploring the Frontier Heritage Museum in Staunton Virginia.
Mrs. Eye’s 4th grade student won 1st place in the county Agriculture in West Virginia poster contest. This contest is sponsored by the Pendleton County Farm Bureau and is open to all county 4th graders. His poster will now be sent to compete at the state level and will be on display at the State Fair in Lewisburg in August.
Fourth grade students participated in the Seneca Adventure Camp. Students learned about the Atlatl, gardening, and nature journaling. They toured the Site's homestead, went hiking, and explored the river for macro invertebrates.
K-2 Accelerated Reader End of Year Celebration! Students spend their AR points on minutes of FUN activities.
Third grade enjoyed their field trip to Seneca Rocks!
Fourth graders enjoyed a field trip to the Smoke Hole Caverns, where they gem mined and toured the caverns.
Mrs. Kimble's KB kiddos enjoyed their science lesson learning about reduce, reuse, and recycle. They reused egg shells as plant holders for the different types of seeds.
All the marvelous moms joined KB for cupcakes and punch. They decorated beautiful hats and the outstanding kiddos did little presentation for these special ladies.
Ms. Kimble's class enjoyed Dads and Donuts. We did a presentation and loved painting a rock and making a craft.
Mrs. Kimble’s amazing KB students worked in groups and used different materials to design Beaver Dams. The goal was to see if they could stop the river from flowing into their dam.
Ms. Flanigan's kindergarten class had a blast celebrating some of our favorite fellas during Dads and Donuts!
Ms. Plaugher's math class enjoyed creating animals for a volume zoo.

Our lost and found table at FES is full. If you see anything that belongs to your child have them pick it up and bring it home. Items left after the last day of school will be donated.
