Mrs. Bennett’s Algebra I class is still learning about scales, ratios and proportions. Today they learned how to read a WV map and used to scale to estimate distances between places.
So, not only can they now draw thanks to math, but they can also travel using a traditional map.





Ms. Pomales' middle school English language arts classes has been conducting research on various indigenous tribes in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
Pictured here, the students are doing peer evaluations of each other's sources before they use the research to write informational essays.

Middle School - High School Basketball Rule change from the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) to begin with the 2023-24 Season.

Middle school girls' basketball tryouts begin Monday, October 30th from 3:30-5:30pm at the PCMHS Auxiliary gym. This is for students grades 6-8. Students need to have a physical in order to participate. They also need water, gym shoes, and appropriate gym attire for tryouts.

Come out this evening and support our Lady Wildcats this evening as they host the Tigers of Elkins High School.

PCMHS Parent Teacher Conference Night is Wednesday Oct 25th from 3:30 to 6:30pm. Please make plans to visit your child’s teachers and pick up your vouchers for the free spaghetti meal provided for the immediate members of a student’s household, sponsored by Pendleton County Eastern Active Family Support Center. Eat in or take out available. While attending, take advantage of additional resources available that night. Healthy Grandfamilies group and the school guidance office will have information tables available for the parents and guardians of students. PCC will also be holding a flu/vaccine clinic. If you desire a vaccine other than the flu vaccine, please contact PCC prior to attending. We look forward to seeing you on Oct 25th.
