Our chemistry classes used household materials to build a spectroscope that was functioning. Next, they viewed the atomic spectra given off by various light sources.
Wow! Ms. Yokum is proud to announce the success of the Senior Class Fundraiser with Byrd’s House of Donuts (Elkins, WV). Special thank you to the class officers for helping sort 596 dozen donuts! Their parents deserve recognition for volunteering to deliver donuts to the school from Byrd’s.
We also appreciate our CIS Coordinator, Mrs. Lesley Cook, for volunteering to help Ms. Yokum and officers with this process.
Last, but certainly not least, THANK YOU to the community for supporting us. We exceeded our fundraising goal!!

The High School Girls Basketball Game for today, Friday, February 10, 2023 with Elkins has been cancelled due to transportation issues with Randolph County Schools.
The Middle School Girls Basketball Game for tomorrow, Saturday, February 11, 2023 will be our 8th Grade Team vs. Warm Springs at 2 p.m.
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Team who will be advancing to the semi-finals on Monday, February 13 at Moorefield Middle School, time and team to be determined.
Today's school counselor to be recognized is Ms. Kellee Waddell; she feels that this position gives her an opportunity to remind students how wonderful they are. Her role is to support each student to be the best "them" they can be and to develop social and emotional skills.
