Let the 2026-2027 school year begin for our fabulous Leadership Team!! Today was day one of our annual Leadership Academy. Former Superintendent Charles Hedrick shared Legislative Updates, as well as other information with our team. Hannah Cooper, WVDE Coordinator Office of Instructional Leadership and Division of Instruction and Support provided Policy 4373 training and shared some examples/scenarios for staff. Many thanks to Charles and Hannah for working with Pendleton County Schools. Nicole Hevener, Superintendent and Kristy Tritapoe, Assistant Superintendent also presented information throughout the day. Great input from all our leaders and lots of learning as we gear up to welcome students, staff, parents, and community members back into our buildings. Thank you to all our leaders for today and to those aspiring to be leaders that joined us.
It's almost time for Back-to-School! Don't forget to get your updated vaccines to be able to start the new school year.

Summer School 2026 students and staff finished their last week with an art project, a visit to the Pendleton County Public Library for story time, and a visit from DNR K-9 Unit. PC Schools wants to say a huge THANK YOU to all our community partners for volunteering time for the students. Thank you to all summer school staff, parents, and students, we are already looking ahead to Summer 2027!
