There is an Opt Out form if parents do not want students to participate, and the survey is completely voluntary. Students will be provided time Thursday during advisory to complete the survey. Pendleton County Schools is aware that the Town of Franklin will be under a boil water advisory - from Friday, March 7 through Saturday, March 8 - which includes Pendleton County Middle/High School and Franklin Elementary School. We have a plan in place to provide bottled water to all students and staff.

Pendleton County High School Baseball is offering a skills clinic for baseball players in grades 2 through 7 on Sunday, February 23 and Saturday, March 1 at the PCHS gym.  The cost is $20, and all proceeds will benefit Wildcat Baseball.  Fundamentals of emphasis will include:  hitting, fielding, pitching, catching.  Registration will begin at 2:30pm on Sunday, February 23.  For more information, please contact Sam Yokum at (304) 567-2488.

Anger Management for Youth is a free, interactive session where participants will learn strategies to identify and cope with their anger in healthier ways. Parents and caregivers are highly encouraged to attend with their child. Due to Grant County Schools having a two-hour delay today, the field trip to the South Branch Career and Technical School for the 10th grade class has been rescheduled for Friday, January 31st. The students will leave no later than 8:30 and return by noon.

The sophomore class will be going to South Branch Career and Technical Center Wednesday, January 29th. Letters were sent home Friday, January 24th. Only students not allowed to attend are to return letters by Tuesday, January 28th.

🚨ATTENTION families of students participating in the County Science and Social Studies Fair: 🚨 *If there is a 2 hour delay tomorrow, we plan to still have the fair at NFES. *If there is a 3 hour delay we will have to reschedule again. *If there is a 2 hour delay, parents are still welcome to visit around 1:30pm. However, please understand if judging is not yet finished we will have to hold off on announcing winners until next week at the schools. *If there is no delay, we will continue as originally planned and parents are welcome to come for the ceremony at 1pm. *We will attempt to live stream the ceremony on the county Youtube channel.
