Due to the concerning forecast, school will be canceled Thursday, December 22nd.


A few important reminders as we head into our short week:
1. Our Christmas Music Program for Grades K-6 will take place as scheduled tomorrow, Monday, December 19th at 6:00pm in the BES gymnasium.
-Mr. Heavner was made aware of the scheduling conflict with the Cheerleading meeting and is working with cheer coaches on allowing interested students to attend the Christmas Concert.
2. Please send any remaining items you have to donate for the CAN food drive tomorrow, Monday, December 19th.
3. Our parent Christmas Luncheon for Grades 3-6 will take place Tuesday, December 20th at the same scheduled time sent home on the flier.

Summer saver day # 3 today, Friday, December 16th.


Pendleton County Schools will be operating on a two hour delay on Friday, December 16th.


The first Pendleton County Youth Rec Cheerleading meeting for grades 3rd-6th will be Monday, December 19th at 5:30PM in the PCHS Auditorium.
Please bring any money owed and an up-to-date sports physical for coaches.

Thursday, December 15th will be Summer Saver Day #2 due to the forecast of ice and a wintery mix. All staff and students will be working remotely. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or principal.


Due to the pending inclement weather forecast this Thursday, we are rescheduling our BES Christmas Luncheon for grades 3rd-6th. Our Christmas Luncheon will now take place Tuesday, December 20th. All times for each grade to be served and eat will stay the same.

Reminder: Tomorrow, Friday, December 9th Pendleton County Schools will be dismissing early. Students being picked up by parents and walkers will be dismissed at 12:45. Buses will dismiss around 1:00.

The Pendleton County basketball rec. league will have a skills clinic next Saturday, December 10th.
The girls clinic will be from 1-2 and boys will be from 2:15-3:15 at PCMHS.
Cheerleading will meet at a later date.

The BES 6th grade class is raising money for their Washington DC trip in May. The students of the class are selling Fox’s pizza coupons for $15 (a $4 discount) redeemable for a large, 3 topping pizza or large wedgie. Please contact a 6th grade class member or Holly Champ at (304) 668-9367.
