The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics. - Paul Halmos On Tuesday, students in one of Mrs. Bennett's Algebra courses completed a Quadratic/Catapult Project. Students made a catapult, then used it to collect data. Then used a graphing calculator to show the path their projectile took to predict where it would land with a given angle.

Today, at Pendleton County Middle High School, the WV Batman shared a special message of HOPE & Empowerment. As an overcomer of terrible child abuse, bullying, addiction, depression and self-destruction John (Batman) brought a message for all ages. Each grade level received an age-appropriate message to impact them as they grow up. This opportunity was brought to us by our CIS Program. Thank you Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Warner.
