During the month of March, PCMHS had a March Madness Attendance Competition and grades 7-12 competed to see who had the best attendance rate. The 7th grade class won the competition with an attendance rate of 94% for the month. They were awarded a trip to the bowling alley where students were able to bowl or skate.
As of April 17, the 7th grade class has had the best attendance of any grade in Pendleton County for the past 7th months! Congratulations Class of 2028!
The Pendleton County Healthy Grandfamilies will be having their first meeting of 2023 on today at PCHS. This free program is designed for grandparents raising their grandchildren. If you are interested in this program and have not already been contacted, please call NFES and ask for Helan Turner or email hturner@k12.wv.us.

Congratulations to Selena Hedrick, Pendleton County FFA Chapter President, for earning her State FFA Degree. This is the highest achievement a state can bestow on a member. She will be recognized at the West Virginia FFA State Convention in July.

Congratulations to Brayden Beachler and Cameron Beachler for finishing 7th in the West Virginia State Tournament on Stonewall Jackson Lake! They weighed in their limit of 5 fish with a total of 6.67 pounds.
The Wildcat Baseball Team was also busy over Spring Break with six games. They fell to Keyser High School, East Hardy High School and East Fairmont High School. They brought home wins against Moorefield High School and Liberty High School.

The Lady Wildcat Softball Team had a busy Spring Break. They accumulated some big wins over Moorefield, Hampshire County, Frankfort and Liberty High Schools. However, they did fall to Oak Glen, Morgantown, and Washington!
Congratulations to Avery Townsend for hitting back to back Home Runs in Clarksburg and hitting home run number 4 against Hampshire County at home!
