My Advanced Art class was asked by a kind employee of the nursing home to paint a mural on a large cement wall that is outside some of the residents' rooms. We took time in class to come up with several designs, and Keira H.'s was chosen to be executed. With a collaborative mural, the design is more for inspiration than to directly copy and the students each added their own touches. We walked over yesterday and spent the school day outside painting and I'm very proud of the mural that the students created. I appreciate their willingness to beautify the community with their awesome talent!
