Fall picture retakes will take place next Thursday, November 6th. Pictures will be taken first thing in the morning, and the photographers won’t be here for long. If you’d like your child to have their picture retaken, please make sure they arrive at school on time.
These photos will be used in the yearbook, so encourage your child to come ready to share their best smile!

Red Ribbon Week with Mrs. George's 2nd grade class.

Mrs. Eye' s fourth grade class enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Jones, a teacher of the visually impaired. The students recently read a story, "The Blind Ambition", in reading class. Mrs. Jones showed the students the Braille alphabet, a stylus and slate used to write Braille, and a book written in Braille. She gave each student a card with their name in Braille. Students gained a deeper understanding through hands-on experience with Braille.

Holiday Food Drive

The Franklin School Association will be hosting a spirit link fundraiser from October 27th-31st. Students may bring in any amount of money to purchase paper chain links. Each link is 25 cents each. The grade level with the longest paper chain at the end of the week will receive 30 minutes of extra recess at The Franklin Town Park. Proceeds of this fundraiser will directly benefit the students at FES through activities such as the 6th grade field trip, field day, Accelerated Reader field trip, and more!
